Paul Walker Cast as Agent 47 for Hitman
Paul Walker is going to have some serious razor burns on his
scalp because he has been cast as the new Agent 47 for the planned Hitman
movie. For those of you who are unacquainted with Paul Walker, he stars in the
Fast and Furious franchise as Brian O’Connor… driving cars.
Previously, the role was with actor Timothy Olyphant, yet
his run as Hitman ended tragically following the critical and box office fallout
of the 2007 movie, which grossed just under US$100 million worldwide,
apparently not enough for a hit game series. This was not surprising to critics
who panned the movie for excessive violence, shabby dialogue and a foggy plot.
No news on whether Olyphant is at home in tears wearing his sweat
pants, watching Oprah on his couch with a packet of crisps, but he will be busy
though, starring on his acclaimed TV series Justified as a hardcore US Marshal.
No problems there I guess.
Since this new just broke in, there are no features on the
upcoming movie. Yet, the game Hitman: Absolution was released last November, so
to get into the spirit of murder, slaughter and violence in general, why not
indulge in the Hitman: Absolution Trailer?
He has no idea what he's putting his head through. |
