Kate Upton May Act in "The Other Woman" as the "Other Woman"
Kate Upton may be hanging up her bikini for a while to take
on the silver screen. She’s in talks to join the upcoming movie titled The
Other Woman.
The movie will see a group of women taking out revenge on an adulterer. The adulterer will be played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who stars as Jaime Lannister in the Game of Thrones TV series, quite a tremendous casting decision I must say. One such meaningless dalliance Nikolaj has is with Cameron Diaz, who discovers that she is the other woman, and joins forces with Nikolaj’s wife (Leslie Mann) to begin a revenge ploy. Upton plays another mistress who is oblivious to the fact that Nikolaj is married and she, too, voluntarily embarks on this scheme alongside Diaz and Mann.

The movie strikes somewhat of a resemblance with Horrible
Bosses, both having revenge as the core template with the only difference here
being that the retribution is sought out by a group of women. This will be Kate
Upton’s first major movie role should she choose to accept the offer. She has
previously had cameos in Tower Heist (as Mr. Hightower’s mistress) and in The
Three Stooges (as a nun… yes, a sexy catholic nun like the one in most male
fantasies).
This won’t be the first time that a supermodel has embraced
the movie industry after donning bikinis or just her skin for magazine covers.
More recently, we saw Brooklyn Decker land a string of movies starting with
Just Go With It, Battleship, and ending with What to Expect When You’re
Expecting. At present, she deems TV shows to be more lucrative, signing up with
quite an assortment of series like New Girl. Then we had Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
in Transformers and Marisa Miller is set to accompany Ryan Reynolds and Jeff
Bridges in R.I.P.D., a movie based on a graphic novel which features a bunch of
supernatural undead cops serving up justice. You get the point. She will be among the ranks
of a certain class of Hollywood actresses that have also been posing in
magazines for a living. I’m not sure how refined Upton’s acting skills are but I
guess all you need is her to do the Cat Daddy dance on screen to fill up
theaters.
Church attendance would rise in the following weeks. Kate Upton in The Three Stooges. |
