Jim Carrey Doesn't Support Kick-Ass 2

Jim Carrey Not Fine With Violence in Kick-Ass 2

Despite acting in Kick-Ass 2 as Colonel Stars and Stripes, Jim Carrey has recently condemned the level of violence present in Kick-Ass 2. This is after the recent Sandy Hook massacre in December, which has changed the actor’s attitude towards the movie.

Oz The Great and Powerful Blu-ray Review

Rich in History and Grandeur

Oz the Great and Powerful acts as an origin story for Frank L. Baum’s novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The wizard named Oz is depicted as a philandering below-par carnival magician, whose romantic escapades force him to hop onto a hot air balloon, lest he face the wrath of one of his tryst’s boyfriends (one of those burly carnival guys). This balloon then gets entangled in a tornado just like Dorothy’s did years later, and Oz finds himself in a completely alien location.

Kate Upton in White Bikini For The Other Woman

Maybe This is Why Kate Upton Should Keep Doing Movies...

I guess Kate Upton should act in more movies, as every time she does she seems to provide plenty for the eyes. This time, she was on the set of The Other Woman in a simple white bikini down at the beach. She even got a kiss from co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones’ Jaime Lannister), but I doubt you want to see that.

Oscars Best Handjob Award (Video)

Academy Awards Get a New Category

The Academy Awards are expanding into some rather unconventional movie categories.  While the Academy rejected proposals such as Best Casting, Best Stunt Coordination (shunned every year from 1991 to 2012) and Best Title Design, they've given the thumbs up to an unexpected entry… Best Handjob.

Captain America: Winter Soldier Suit

Is Captain America Giving Up his American Colors?

Captain America may be starting off Marvel’s Phase 2 with a drastic makeover in the form of a new suit.  Upon first sight, it’s clearly predominantly blue and white, and there isn't a hint of red or anything American about it. It seems like patriotism has given way to a stealthier look, and without the shield, he might be mistaken for a daredevil or stuntman from some other country.

Do Movie Pre-Orders Hurt The Box Office?

Movies Available to Pre-Order alongside Initial Premiere

H39C64KTK2FV

A recent phenomenon that has plagued the entertainment industry is movie pre-ordering. Most of the time, movies are available to pre-order as soon as it hits the box office, often coinciding with the premiere release. It happened with G.I. Joe: retaliation and Star Trek into Darkness. In my opinion, this has to hurt the box office.

Man of Steel's Marketing Problem

Have 4 Trailers and 9 TV Spots Ruined the Man of Steel for Audiences?

Have we already seen the Man of Steel movie? So far, we’ve had 4 trailers, and countless TV spots that seem to give away almost the entire plot. Check out the comments on any social network’s posts and the general consensus is that piecing together the trailers and the TV spots gives the movie in its entirety. Of course, this is exaggeration but has Zack Snyder along with his creative team given away too much?
